And where my life is now compared to when I started this blog. So today I am going to begin a new list (and probably hit the ones that I already listed, but lots of that kind will be the

whenIfinishtheimportantthingsIwillgettothem list.

Since I created this blog,

we have moved

changed churches

all my kids are in school now

I have a part time job

and I am at the point that I need to increase our socialization...having people over...that kind of thing.

My daughters are getting closer and closer to teenage and I have a vague plan of what I want to use to train them from 13-18+...but I know me, and a plan for all of it and just kind of run the plan, tweaking as I go, would be far better than making it up as I go along.

Don't even know if there will be 101 things. Not even going to count them to make 101. But I have to get a vision for what is important. Without a vision, the people perish, you know (Proverbs 29:18).

So next will be the list of things that are important to accomplish before November 1, 2012.

May be laughing at it again in 2012...hope not.

Here are my big goals...

1. HOUSE PURGING
2. HOUSE DECORATING
3. SELF IMAGE IMPROVEMENT
4. TEEN AGE GIRL TRAINING
5. HOSTESSING 101
6. SCRIPTURE SONG WEB SITE
7. FINISH ADVENT AND LENT WEBSITES

OK....no more writing. I could plan all day...

Cryptogram Help!

I shamelessly took this from Wikipedia...Hopefully I will be able to put it to use this week and get the cryptoquote thing off my list...

Here is the link if you want it

http://www.wikihow.com/Solve-a-Cryptogram

CONTRIBUTORS-Ben Rubenstein , Jack H and Brigitta M. .

Do crypto-puzzles have you wanting to throw your pencil? Would you like to actually finish one? Here's some advice to get you started...and hopefully finished!

Steps
Look for one-letter words. Because crypto-puzzles often use quotes from people, "I" is almost as common as "a", so be careful before plunging in. The trick to figuring out if it's an "I" or "a" is by experimenting with the letter in other words.
For instance, a four-letter word that starts and ends with the same letter, such as "bgfb" is often "that". If the one letter word is an "f" you can almost be certain that it's an "a".
The word "the" is extremely common and can be measured against "that". For instance, if a sentence contains both "bgfb" and "bgd", you can be pretty confident that you're on the right track. Same with "bgrl", which would most likely be "then".
Watch for apostrophes. More often they signal contractions that end in "n't" (such as "can't", "won't", or "don't"), but they can also mean posessives (like "Mary's", "Officer Feldman's", etc). If there is more than one apostrophe in the cryptogram, watch for patterns and similarities.
With "t" "h" "th" "n" "e" and "a" solved, you're well on your way to finishing the puzzle.

Tips
If you get stuck, go ahead and take some guesses. You may be right a lot. If not, erase and start over!
When dealing with apostrophes, look at the letter before the apostrophe, if it's always the same, you definitely have the "n't" combination. If not, than you're more likely dealing with the posessive.

Related wikiHows

Summer Menu Plans

Week One

Wednesday Spaghetti, yellow and green beans, breadsticks

Thursday I just loved that list.
Such good ideas!

1. Grand Canyon…….hiked to the bottom, spent the night & hiked back out next day; with 4 kids! It was hot, 118 degrees and hard to do but so worth it.
2. Yellowstone National Park……hiked & camped, it was 28 degrees at night in August! It’s a great park.
3. New York City……..to see Broadway plays, shop & see the sights. I always love it there!
4. Disneyworld…..been several times & with 4 kids you’ve got to go there, right!
5. Rented an RV and drove through California, Oregon and Washington; saw Yosemite, Sequoia, Redwood, & Crater Lake National parks among other things. With 4 kids & 2 parents in an RV, a fun time! It might be one of the kid’s most favorite things we did.
6. Snow skiing in Snowmass/Aspen, Colorado……we have skiied many places but this is probably our favorite.
7. Washington D.C. and all the usual tourist spots there; gotta love the nation’s capital!
8. Grand Teton National Park….white water rafted on the Snake River while there.
9. Smoky Mountains…….encountered a big black bear & 2 cubs while hiking a trail in the mountains.
10. Gettysburg Battlefield, Antietam Battlefield, Monticello & other historical sites in Pennsylvania, Maryland & Virginia……the youngest thought it was one long boring field trip, the rest of us loved it!
11. Niagara Falls….saw both American & Canadian sides; rode Maid of the Mist & did the walk called Journey Behind the Falls.
12. Glacier National Park….did an 8 mile hike to a glacier & drove the Going to the Sun road.
13. Destin, Florida…..typical beach vacation; we aren’t beach people so we don’t go very often!

April 1 2009

OK, I don't have my list completely together for my 101 in 1001, but I had to get this date. We want to make sure we get in whatever we feel is signifcant as our children grow up and leave home.

2. Make a rotating list of menus for each season so that I don't have to start from scratch every week. This, again, has been attempted before, and I think the way to do it this time (for good...) is to just keep a list of menus every week for about 6 weeks each season, tweak them and use them twice a season. That would be 12 week, repeating each week twice...

3. Write a compilation of Scripture Songs on a theme and then record them...I have been putting this off for a long time and I need to do it. No more excuses. I probably need about 17 songs. About 45 minutes worth.

4. Clean the kids' closets.

5. Clean out the upstairs storage area.

6. Finish reading my self improvement books
Your Best Life Now by Joel Osteen
Pathway to Purpose for Women by Katie Brazelton
Change Your Life in 30 Days by Rhonda Britten

7. Get some kind of a schedule going that would encompass daily things to do and long term project work so that I could find some balance.

8. Visit my mom and Earl at their home 10 times in the next 12 months (this is July 2006)

9. Finish Beth Moore Believing God.

10. Make my clothing reflect who I am on the inside. I am much more creative and fun than that.

14.
